The founders of Cloud 9 Technology have over 30 years of combined experience running the IT departments of multi-billion dollar international financial institutions. Successfully managing and implementing multi-million dollar infrastructure and development projects. They have a vast amount of experience in developing high quality, innovative, and flexible solutions to a wide range of complex business problems. Always adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC, and FSA.

Salman Javed, Senior Partner, co-founder of Cloud 9 Technology, is a Senior Information Technology Executive with extensive experience managing and implementing multi-million dollar development projects using the latest in web-based technology.

Originally from Toronto, Mr. Javed graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Mathematics and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. Mr. Javed worked for several Canadian financial institutions including the Bank of Nova Scotia and Toronto Dominion Bank. In 1999, he joined Investcorp Bank as the Head of Application Development and progressed to Chief Technology Officer. In 2007 he moved to Marsh USA (MMC) where be became a SVP in Application Development.

John Robert Ord, Senior Partner, co-founder of Cloud 9 Technology, is a Senior Information Technology Executive with extensive experience provisioning structured, multi-million dollar solutions to a wide range of complex business problems.

Originally from North East of England, Mr. Ord attended North Umbria University. After various roles in the UK and overseas, Mr. Ord started his own business in 1989, which he ran successfully for eight years. In 1997 he joined Investcorp Bank where he worked in various information technology functions from Database Administrator, through London Support Manager, finally heading up the New York Technology Support Team, responsible for hedge funds technology support across the bank.
