Cloud9 has partnered with Microsoft and developed an “IT Startup Pack”, giving you an immediate business edge by leveraging latest technology solutions at a very reasonable price. The Startup Pack features Microsoft Online Services and the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). This suite of tools are all need to be up and running in days, allowing you to hit the ground running.
The basic startup package costs only $10/month/user and consists of the following four BPOS services:
- E-mail - Secure, filtered, virus and spam free E-mail, accessible through Microsoft Outlook and over the web (all features of enterprise level e-mail, Blackberry support etc).
- SharePoint Portal Server - allowing clients to share and collaborate on documents in a single shared repository, accessible through a secure portal from anywhere with Internet access.
- Live Meeting - allowing clients to set up on-line meeting either on the fly or scheduled through Outlook. These meeting can have video as well as audio and allow desktop sharing etc for presentations.
- Office Communicator - real time integrated communication, instant messaging, multiparty audio and video.

Additional Services
Cloud9 provides these additional services at a very competitive monthly fixed cost or on a one-off basis.
- Create and register your company domain name on the web (e.g. www.mycompany.com).
- Create and maintain your company website.
- Install Microsoft Office 2007 and other required business software on your PCs/Laptops.
- Install and regularly manage security software - Firewalls, anti-virus software, and software patches.
- Initial user training on all Microsoft products.
- Hardware/Software support for one year (5 days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST).
Any server hardware required to provide these services will be maintained by Cloud9 outside of the client's premises.
No client server hardware is required.
The client is only required to procure PCs/laptops used by their employees and the software that resides on that hardware (e.g. Microsoft Office 2007, Quicken, etc...)
Notes:
The following additional services are available to Financial Services industry clients for an additional cost:
1) SEC compliant e-mail provisioning and journaling.
2) Data vendor support (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc...).
3) We can provide 24/7 Hardware/software support.
